Holomb V. State economic policy of increasing foreign debt sustainability in Ukraine

Genesis of scientific thought about the nature of external loans is investigated and definition of "gross external debt" in the context of sustainable economic development is determined. The features of gross external debt accumulation as a factor of foreign debt stability are examined. The tendencies of accumulation and service of gross external debt in foreign countries are viewed. The dynamics and the current state of gross external debt in Ukraine by sectors of the economy, financial instruments, maturity and currency structure are analysed. The dependence between GDP and gross external debt by building economic and mathematical model is investigated. The system of External Debt Sustainability Indicators of Ukraine is proposed.
