Kovalevsky S. Increasing efficiency of operation of a semitrailer scraper in a train

The thesis is devoted to improving productivity and reliability of a semitrailer scraper when operating in a train at the expense of introduction of rational modes of operation and design of hitch mechanisms. In this paper the design scheme, mathematical and computer models of a scraper train consisting of semitrailer and wheel machines, taking into account the nonlinear characteristics of traction and resistance forces of the scraper bucket filling have been developed. Based on the studies the new patterns of impact of a scraper train workflow parameters on metalwork loading and machine productivity have been set, the rational parameters of the hitch mechanism and the fifth-wheel and lever assemblies have been determined.
