Essay

Dissertation is devoted to quantum-chemical and spectral study of electron properties of cationic and anionic polymethine dyes, influence of total charge of conjugated system, chromophore length and nature of terminal group on electron transition. The bis-dipole model of ionic conjugated system taking correctly the electron interaction was developed and quantum-chemical approved for the investigation of the excited states.
