Essay

Based on the obtained experimental data as well as similar results from the authors a new procedure for prediction of long-term creep is proposed. This procedure involves basic diagrams and residual functions, which parameters can depend on the operating temperature or be invariant to it. An approach based on the modified kinetic theory by Yu.M. Rabotnov is presented to describe creep under conditions of isothermic deformation processes.
