Liashenko I. Resource saving to ensure the economic efficiency of wood processing enterprises

In thesis formulated, researched and solved scientific task to improve the theoretical and methodological provisions and provide practical recommendations for the economic efficiency of wood processing enterprises based on resource saving. Background of the research is caused by the fact that the upward trend in prices on resources and increased competition have led to the growing influence of the price factor of competition in most commodity markets. Resource saving of wood processing enterprises can not be considered outside the context of achieving of their strategic goals. Therefore, introduction of tactical resource saving activities is not sufficient to ensure the economic efficiency of such enterprises. In these conditions becomes important improvement of theoretical and methodological foundations to ensure improvement of the economic efficiency of wood processing enterprises based on resource saving that determines the relevance of the research topic. In the study are used methods of scientific analysis, comparison, systematization (for clarification of the essence of the concept of "resource saving of enetreprise" and set of the resource saving classification features); methods of scientific abstraction (in the process of determining the principles of formation of resource saving system management of wood processing enterprises); methods of synthesis, analysis, logic synthesis (for justification of the need for implementation of resource saving measures for wood processing enterprises; for grouping and evaluation of resource saving indicators of the enterprises; for the formation of scientific and practic recommendations); methods of correlation and regression analysis, economic-mathematical modeling, fuzzy logic (for the formation of scientific and methodological approaches to the evaluation of resource efficiency level and level of resource saving of the wood processing enterprises). In accordance with the objective are set and solved the following tasks: generalized theoretical approaches to the interpretation of the concept of "resource saving of enterprise" and on this basis are defined and supplemented the resource classification criteria; evaluated the effectiveness of the introduction of resource saving activities on wood processing enterprises on the basis of the integrated approach; improved integrated approach to the evaluation of potential directions of resource saving of wood processing enterprises; developed theoretical and methodological provisions for assessing the level of resource efficiency of wood processing enterprises; improved the system and structural approach to forming the resource saving system management of wood processing enterprises; developed theoretical and methodological provisions for selection of the optimal resource saving strategy of wood processing enterprises; developed scientific and practical recommendations to improve the effectiveness of wood processing enterprises based on resource saving. In the first section "Scientific basis for the role of resource saving in improvement of the economic efficiency of enterprises" there are summarized scientific approaches to formation of the categories of resource saving theory, investigated the relationship between theoretical positions of resource saving in terms of principles, effects, factors and a set of classification features. In the second section "Assessing of the impact of resource saving activities on the economic efficiency of wood processing enterprises" there are researched resource saving tendencies in industry in general and wood processing industry of Ukraine in particular, analyzed influence of resource saving on the results of activity of wood processing enterprises, generalized theoretical and methodological provisions for assessing of the level of resource efficiency of wood processing enterprises. In the third section "Directions of increase of the economic efficiency of resource saving of the wood processing enterprises" there are improved conducting of the resource audit procedure, formed mechanism of resource saving system management of wood processing enterprises formation, developed theoretical and methodological provisions for choosing of the optimal strategy of resource saving and formulated recommendations regarding ways of increasing the resource efficiency of wood processing enterprises. It is appropriate to recommend use of scientific results of the thesis to the consideration and use of heads and top management of domestic wood processing enterprises as a theoretical and methodological foundations of scientific and practical recommendations to ensure improvement of the economic efficiency of wood processing enterprises based on the resource saving.
