Ruzhytskyi A. Increasing Economic Security of Energy Generation Enterprises Based on the Monitoring of Current Assets

The dissertation clarifies the concept of "economic security", defines the role of current assets in providing economic security, summarizes theoretical aspects of monitoring of current assets in the enterprise system to ensure economic security. The author performs diagnostics of the level of economic security of power generating enterprises as well as monitoring of current assets in the context of ensuring economic security of power generating enterprises. Methodical approaches to monitoring current assets based on economic security for different time horizons are developed, the conceptual approach to the justification of the choice of management alternatives on the results of monitoring is proposed that helps simultaneously take into account the condition of individual components of working capital and changes in economic security. The technique has been tested on the example of generating company PJSC "Kyivenergo". As a result of investigation and generalization of theoretical foundations of working capital monitoring in the system of ensuring economic security of energy generation enterprises it is proved that in terms of complex monitoring it is necessary to distinguish its permanent part (basic monitoring). In addition to basic monitoring problem monitoring should be used.
