Essay

We defined frequency and structure of complications in neonates with respiratory disorders on mechanical lung ventilation. Suggested the method of calculating the risk of complications and fatal outcome in infants on mechanical lung ventilation. Found connection between activation of lipid peroxidation and disorders in antioxidant system, increased content of proinflammatory cytokines, decreased levels of zinc and selenium with type of respiratory support.
