Ponomarova V. Development of non-bank financial intermediation in the market of financial services of Ukraine

The thesis is devoted to the solution of an actual scientific problem of improvement of the mechanism of development of non-bank financial intermediation in the market of financial services. The essence of non-bank financial mediation in the market of financial services, its types and functions as well as dependence of the variety of types of financial intermediaries on certain historical conditions of the market of financial services functioning are defined. Conceptual provisions of formation of the mechanism of development of non-bank financial intermediation in the market of financial services are substantiated. On the basis of the analysis of the state and dynamics of the market of financial services of Ukraine the factors influencing functioning of non-bank financial intermediaries are revealed. For overcoming of the problems caused by impact of these factors the mechanism of development of non-bank financial intermediation which grounds on the scientific and methodical approach including accession of Ukraine to the Lamfalussy process, introduction of International Financial Reporting Standards for institutional subjects of the market of financial services, optimization of active operations of non-bank financial intermediaries that allows to provide compliance of their functional purpose to requirements of the balanced development of the financial system and real sector of national economy is proposed.
