The thesis formed the conceptual apparatus of Category-study based on determining the nature of the concepts of "intensification", "intensification of the economic mechanism" to the resource base of milk processing plants, analyzed scientific approaches to assessing the economic efficiency of milk production in terms of intensification, reasonably trends and factors of economic mechanism intensification of resource base milk processing plants. The dynamics and structure of the resource base milk processing plants, conditions and trends, analyzes the features of intensifying resource base milk business in a market mechanism. presents the results of a scientific study of the possible ways to ensure the effective functioning of the resource base of milk processing plants, taking into account the processes of intensification and concentration of production, formed a systematic approach to building organizational and economic mechanism of intensifying resource base milk processing plants.
