Essay

The thesis is dedicated to increasing the effectiveness of orthopedic treatment of patients with complete secondary adentia improved by the use improved fiber reinforced polypropylene dentures. An improved method of manufacturing full dentures made of thermoplastic polymeric materials, comprising reinforcing denture base cobalt-chromium alloy under laboratory conditions. It has been established that the polypropylene dentures are stable and do not undergo intensive aging for a long time, demonstrating a decrease of the viscoelastic properties as compared with acrylic resins are characterized by high microhardness and decrease brittleness due to the use of metallic framework. It is shown that for the creation of the "polypropylene - metal" system in the denture is the most optimal cobalt-chromium alloy. It has been shown that the use of improved fiber reinforced polypropylene full dentures in patients with secondary edentulous has a more rapid reduction in pH, the extent of migration of leukocytes in the oral fluid, capillary resistance, oral hygiene prostheses decrease, an increase of chewing efficiency , optimal power prosthesis fixation, reducing the amount of prosthesis correction and reduction degree of atrophycompared with acrylic dentures.
