Lysenko V. Administrative and legal regulation of cooperation with Ukrainians abroad

The thesis is a research of administrative and legal regulation of cooperation with Ukrainians abroad. Characteristic features and specifics typical of Diaspora and Ukrainians abroad have been highlighted. Notions, intentions for cooperation and partnership with Ukrainians abroad have been studied. Author's definitions have been proposed such as cooperation with Ukrainians abroad and interaction with Ukrainians abroad. Specifics of national policy regarding cooperation with Ukrainians abroad have been studied and a target, tasks and areas with respect hereof have been highlighted. It has been determined that the law of Ukraine "On Ukrainians abroad" requires immediate improvement in a part of the notion "a Ukrainian abroad", procedure for the issuance of identity document of a Ukrainian abroad, system of organizational and structural units carrying out cooperation with Ukrainians abroad; the author has offered suggestions on how to eliminate the gaps mentioned.
