The dissertation is devoted to the complex investigation of scientific and methodological approaches and the development of practical recommendations concerning management processes of information asymmetry influence on the banks' lending activity. The evolution of scientific approaches to the determination of banks' role on the credit market in condition of information asymmetry is investigated. On the credit market banks play systematic and leading role in information asymmetry reduction as a result of their modern functions fulfillment as information processors and as delegated monitoring institutes, based on their ability to be borrowers and lenders at the same time.
