Essay

In this thesis the physical and electrochemical properties of undoped and doped with Zr, Nb nanodispersed titania obtained by sol-gel technology are presented. For the first time TiO2 doped with zirconium and niobium and annealed at 670 and 1120 K was used as cathode materials for lithium power sources (LPS). The efficiency of this modification for improving ion intercalation process of lithium into the structure of titanium dioxide was shown.
