Object of study - the process of increasing the adhesion strength of multilayer protective coatings. The aim - to develop three-layer corrosion-resistant coatings with improved adhesion, strength and performance characteristics based on modified epoxy compositions and polyolefin adhesives for steel pipelines by directional control values of the surface energy of the coating components to provide the greatest value of the work of adhesion and the parameter thermodynamic compatibility. By directional control values of the surface energy components of a three-layer coating corrosion-resistant polymer coating created without bundles between components throughout the life cycle. Created a mathematical description of the functional dependence of layered adhesive strength of contact between the components of the anti-corrosion coating on the value of the surface energy of each component that allows you to make projections about the possibility of separation in multilayer polymer system. The methods of surface preparation of steel and polyethylene, which provides the necessary surface energy values of the three-layered coating element, were offered. Basic technological scheme of forming a three-layer polymeric corrosion resistant coating at the factory was designed.
