Kasyanenko L. Improving the efficiency of investment in improving the working conditions of employees of coal mines

The thesis concerns the development of methodological approaches to assess economic and social investment efficiency for improvement of labour conditions for coal mine staff. Available approaches as for assessing investment efficiency to improve labour conditions for coal mine staff have been considered; economic loss stipulated by dangerous and hazardous labour conditions in coal mines has been studied; features of investment policy in the field of labour safety for coal industry of Ukraine have been researched. Methodological approaches to determine values of prevented loss owing to implementation of emergency prevention activities as well as activities aimed at prevention of accidences and professional diseases; to assess investment efficiency as for coal mine staff labour conditions improvement have been substantiated. Procedure to determine priority investment tendencies and ways to improve motivation and economic stimulation of enterprises for labour conditions improvement have been substantiated. Factors for complex estimation for functioning of systems of labour safety control in terms of coal mining enterprises have been identified.
