Babenko-Zhyrnov M. The contemporary Ukrainian philosophical lyrics: genesis and modifications.

The thesis is devoted to the investigation of the contemporary Ukrainian philosophical lyrics, its genesis and modifications, key semantic and poetical accents. The complete analysis of philosophical poet's creation of turning age (ХХ - ХХІ cent.) has been made in Ukrainian literary studies at first. The theoretical peculiarities of lyrics of mind, it's interrelations with philosophy; the specificity of philosophical poet as psychological types of the author has been seen in this dissertation. The intensified attention to axiological problems of the newest age is one of the main tendencies of the modern literary process; it has been proved on the basis of analysis of the key images and motives of the modern philosophical lyrics. The poets of mind accent on the main concepts of being, their poetry are mentioned by the leitmotif of search of the sense of life in the new age conditions. The poetical structures of the contemporary philosophical lyrics, particularly the peculiarities of writers linguo-stylistics innovations, versification system, the specifity of perceptional models in their poetry has been analysed in the thesis. The original phenomenon of the philosophical metaphor has been discovered in the investigation process. It is the concentrated trope, which is defined by aphoristic and penetrating reflection. The occasional philosophical metaphors are often used in the modern lyrics of mind. The artistic transformations of the actual epochal problems alternate with creative variations on eternal terms in the contemporary philosophical lyrics. This is the specifity of its genesis and modifications.
