The processes of stocks management in machine-building enterprises are the research object. Theoretical, methodological, methodical and applied principles of production stocks management in machine-building enterprises are the research subject. The development of theoretical, methodological, methodical and applied principles of production stocks management in machine-building enterprises is the research aim. The research methods are: graphic, theoretical generalization, questionnaire, empirical research, morphological, statistical and comparative analysis, synthesis, identification, simulation modeling and process approach. The value of received results is in the development of theoretical principles and practical recommendations of production stocks formation, use and management in machine-building enterprises on the basis of general management functions realization. The polycriterial model of choice of warehouses types of production stocks has been firstly elaborated. The typologies of production stocks, production stocks warehouses, methods of production stocks formation, restocking and use, structuring of expenses on production stocks formation and maintenance have been improved. The conceptual framework of production stocks management, the terminological apparatus in the sphere of production stocks management and the typology of influence factors on production stocks have been developed. The research results have been embedded in machine-building enterprises and academic process. The machine-building enterprises are the sphere of usage of author's proposals.
