An object is formings of spiritual-cultural and historiography space of Кaterinoslavschiny from the late 18th to the 20th centuries. Purpose: reconstruction of process of origin and development of kollekcionirovaniya of writing monuments on Кaterinoslavschine in the end 18th at the beginning of the 20th centuries as constituent of historiography and spiritual-cultural process. Methodology of dissertation research is based both on scientific principles (historical method, objectivity, scientific character) and on istoriko-scientific methods: istoriko-genetic, istoriko-tipologicheskiy, istoriko-comparative, chronologic and method of division into periods.The terms of becoming and development of kollekcionirovaniya are certain on Кaterinoslavschine from the late 18th to the 20th centuries. Description of the basic stages of kollekcionirovaniya of writing monuments is presented in a region and their feature. Composition of the most informing, rarest, important in cultural and personality aspects writing collections is reconstructed. Basic reasons and principles of kollekcionirovaniya, types of collectors, varieties of collections are certain.
