Properties of new nanostructured composite system pentaplast/AgI obtained through polymer surface modification by dispersed particles of superionic conductor (AgI) have been investigated for the first time; new specific effects and phenomena have been discovered, such as: change of parameters of phase transformations, electrical conductivity enhancement, presence of two percolation thresholds, excitation of self-oscillations of linear dimensions, increase of the complex dielectric permittivity at microwave frequencies. Structure and properties of silver iodide modified by 3-aminopropylsiloxane have been studied for the first time. It was found that aggregates of silver iodide decrease in size and change their phase composition as a result of the modification process, which in turn give rise to electrical conductivity enhancement by two orders of magnitude. Electrical and thermophysical properties of nanocomposites with the structure of "core-shell" AgI/silica have been studied for the first time. It was found that phase transition temperature for silver iodide decrease by ten degrees which could be phenomenologically explained by means of the theory of capillary phenomena and existence of the Laplace pressure.
