Essay

A comprehensive study of the theoretical, methodological and practical principles of economic effi-ciency of agricultural enterprises machines and tractors fleets is has been carries out. A scientific approach to upgrading the system of recounting physical machines into conventional ones has been suggested and definition of the optimal composition of machines technological complex for different technologies by energy evaluation criterion that provides generalized indices of tractor units performance and objective evaluation of tractors efficiency in agricultural production. The methodical approach to economic justification of basic forms of specialized agricultural ma-chinery by calculating the efficiency coefficient reflecting the ratio of the products added value and cost, which allows to implement operational management of technological processes provision in agrotech-nological operations, has been suggested. The principal technical and economic parameters on which agricultural enterprises management should focus while purchasing modern machines have been defined. Economic feasibility of purchasing farms machinery under financial leasing compared to bank lending has been grounded. Comprehensive recommendations on improving the use of machines and tractors fleets in farms have been developed: restoration of machinery certification and standardization system; increasing the efficiency of agriculture machinery use and improving technical services and machine operators, engi-neers and technicians training; service engineering organization on the base of former district transport repair companies; setting technical services informational and consulting boards at the regional depart-ment of agrarian industry development.
