Object of study: governance regional development. Objective: To study the theoretical propositions and develop practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of strategic planning of regional development in Ukraine. Methods: analysis and synthesis, historical simulation, system approach, the comparative analysis. Results resolved important scientific task that is grounding theoretical positions and develop practical recommendations for improving the mechanisms of strategic planning of regional development in Ukraine.
