Orobinska R. Characters' Dialogue Speech : the Structural Semantic and Functional Communicative Aspects (Based on Modern German Feature Films)

The thesis is devoted to the study of structural-semantic and communicative-functional aspects of Characters' Dialogue Speech (ChDS). The investigation presents ChDS as a type of verbal interaction of people, which is realized in dramatization and serves as an additional means of author’s vision of characters images. The peculiarities of professional expression of ChDS in feature films are pointed out. Structural characteristics of ChDS in German features films are described. The influence of structural changes on the semantics of sentences in ChDS is characterized. The ChDS of modern German features films in the communicative-functional aspect is outlined.
