Essay

Object of study - pressure vessels, elastic-plastic deformation of material in the vicinity of stress concentrators and cracks at complex loading. The aim of study - to develop a technique for pressure vessels fracture resistance estimation on the base of local parameters of stress-strain state using energy criterion of fracture. The technique for determining the strength of pressure vessels is developed. Using developed technique the destructive pressure of pipeline scale model and space craft booster fuel tank is established.
