Oleksyuk O. The Dspace System as a Means of Intensification of Scientific and Research Work of Future Informatics Teachers

The dissertation is dedicated to the research of a problem related to the intensifica-tion of scientific and research work of future informatics teachers on the basis of means of electronic scientific and educational libraries. The author specifies the psychological and pedagogical sense of concepts "intensification" and "scientific and research work of a stu-dent". The dissertation contains a research result and selection criteria of software for the development of an institutional repository of an educational establishment. The author the-oretically substantiated and developed a model of the DSpace system application for the intensification of scientific and research work of future informatics teachers, which con-sists of four interrelated components: motivational and value-based, organizational and meaningful, organizational and active, and estimative and effective ones. The experimental implementation of the research results indicated that the applica-tion of the institutional repository in the educational process on the basis of the developed instrument conduced to the intensification of scientific and research work of students.
