Essay

The thesis is devoted to the problem of geoinformation technology usage in ecological competence formation of the Mining Engineers students. In this thesis the structure, content, levels, criteria and indicators of ecological competence formation of the future Mining Engineers are developed; the model using geoinformation technology as a tool of the Mining Engineers students' environmental competence formation was theoretically grounded and developed; the geoinformation technologies usage technique, which led to the ecological competence formation of the future Mining Engineers is developed; the effectiveness of the developed technique at teaching students of mining specialties was experimentally proved.
