Essay

The object is steel-concrete composite constructions with connection of concrete and steel elements with acrylic adhesives; the purpose is substantiation possibility of using the new method of ensuring the collaboration of concrete and steel in composite structures, to develop recommendations for calculation and design of steel-concrete composite elements in which collaboration of concrete and steel is provided by the acrylic adhesive on the basis of theoretical and experimental researches; methods are experimental and theoretical studies of stress-strain and limit states of steel-concrete composite elements while ensuring collaboration of steel and concrete by using of acrylic adhesives; the novelty -a new method of ensuring collaboration of concrete and steel in steel-concrete composite structures that lies in gluing of fresh concrete mixture to the metal part was offered; the influence of adhesive joint presence and composition of used glue, different classes of concrete for strength on deformability and bearing capacity of examined elements was determined; new results of researches of steel-concrete composite elements by using adhesive connections were obtained; method of calculation of bearing capacity and deflections of steel-concrete composite elements with adhesive joint considering its properties and geometry was developed; the results - new constructions of compressed steel-concrete composite elements with sheet steel reinforcement were developed; suggestions for methods of determining the bearing capacity of the investigated elements with regard to their geometrical parameters, physical and mechanical characteristics of the materials were presented; design solutions of bearing structures, which are made by using adhesive joint based on acrylic glue were proposed; recommendations for the use of acrylic glues in the manufacture of steel-concrete composite structures were developed; the industry is building
