Essay

Object - the work of joints and connections of light steel thin-walled structures; the thesis is devoted to the study of deflected mode of the connections and joints of light steel thin-walled structures; the existing experimental and theoretical studies of connections and joints of light steel thin-walled structures was analyzed; the method of experimental studies of connections and joints developed; the novelty - obtained new experimental data about the strength and deformability of joints of light steel thin-walled structures, was further developed methods of numerical modeling of thin-walled elements with shear deformations; improved determination of the reliability factor by material for bolts and screws calculating the connection strength to mashing; results - first developed and patented a new type of connection light steel thin-walled structures without using fasteners, defined bearing capacity and the nature of their work; the results of research were implemented in design and survey of buildings with light steel thin-walled structures; the industry is building
