In the thesis on the basis of the analysis of current regulations and their practical implementation, theoretical achievements of the scientists of different branches of law the role and place of the organizational-methodical units of pre-trial investigation bodies of the MIA of Ukraine in the system of management of pre-trial investigation authorities are defined, paper explores the current state of a legal support of the activities of organizational and methodical subdivisions of the organs of pre-trial inquiry of the bodies of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, the distinction between the norms of administrative and criminal procedural law, regulating the activities of the organizational and methodical units of the pre-trial investigation bodies of the Internal Affairs bodies, is substantiated.
