Essay

The dissertation is devoted to developing of science-based calculation method to assess the stress-strain state and determine the bearing capacity of bent and eccentrically compressed members of circular and ring-shape cross sections based on method of deformation with usage of complete and two-line diagrams of concrete deformations. The algorithms for the proposed calculation were developed. The control of accuracy and reliability of the proposed calculation system was provided. Numerical experiment is done, studying the influence of main factors (section diameter, class of concrete, percentage of reinforcement, eccentricity of applied force) for the bearing capacity of circular cross-section members. Based on the results of numerical experiment, the simplified (graphical) method of the bearing capacity determination under certain external influences for members of circular cross-section was proposed.
