The thesis is a comprehensive research of theoretical, methodological, organizational and practical issues of complex comparative analysis of business activities of trade enterprise. The essence, purposes and principles of a comprehensive comparative analysis are determined and its author's interpretation is proposed.The polyvector of the information software of the complex comparative analysis is defined. The organizational and methodological approaches to the modeling of complex indices of comparative analysis are generalized. The methodical aspects of factor analysis of competitive advantages of trade enterprise was disclosed. The mechanism of risks identification in the system of complex comparative analysis was improved. The criteria of effectiveness comprehensive comparative analysis of economic activities of commercial enterprise are defined
