Essay

Object of the research – coordination compounds of lanthanides with 4 acylpyrazolones. Purpose of the research – synthesis and determination of peculiarities of composition and spectral properties of coordination compounds of lanthanides based on 3-methyl-1-phenyl-4-fomylpyrazol-5-one. Methods of the research – chemical and thermogravimetric analysis; IR spectroscopy; luminescent spectroscopy; X-ray phase analysis; X-ray structural analysis.Theoretical and practical results: the achievement of complex of systematic data regarding structural peculiarities and spectral properties of of synthesized coordination compounds ,as well as that of a ligand which belongs to aldehydеketones and in complex formation displays main properties attributable to diketones and 4-acylpyrazolones. High stability of chelate metallocycles generated by 3-methyl-1-fenil-4-formylpyrazol-5-one allows for the synthesis with high yield, as well as structural and spectral characterization of stable tetrakis lanthanide complexes.Displacement from coordination sphere of low molecular ligands while formation of anion tetrakis complexes significantly increases the intensity of luminescence of europium(III) and terbium(III) cations.
