The thesis is devoted to defining the essence and peculiarities of auditing in Ukraine, to identification of the ways of improving its administrative and legal guaranteeing. Historical and legal analysis of the formation and development of auditing in Ukraine is realized. The principles of audit and auditing, their object and matter, types, forms and methods are characterized. Peculiarities of legal regulation of auditing are established; the place of administrative legislation in it is defined.
