The dissertation presents theoretical and methodological generalization and new solution of urgent scientific chal-lenges that determine the effective process of attracting foreign investment in Ukraine in view of possible scenarios. The key participants of the investment process, as well as approaches and instruments of investment policy to at-tract foreign investment in the national economy. A scientific approach to evaluating the effectiveness of foreign investment on the basis of short-term and long-term effects, which determines the difference made the economy from further attracted foreign investment from its base state and substantiate the conclusion of improvement or deterioration in the performance of enterprises - recipients and national economy for the period, and foreign investment feasibility chosen priorities.
