Essay

Objective: justifying the theoretical and methodological foundations and development of scientific and practical recommendations to improve state regulation of foodstuffs export and import. Object: a process of state regulation of foodstuffs export and import as a tool to improve the efficiency of foreign economic activity (FEA). Methods of research: scientific abstraction; induction and deduction; analysis and synthesis; the logics laws; historical and economical; statistical and economical; comparative analysis; economical and mathematical; monographic; sociological. Theoretical results: there was developed the basis for the further enrichment of the theoretical and methodological framework as for improving state regulation of foodstuffs export and import. Practical results: there was developed scientifically approved approaches and practical recommendations for improvement of state regulation of foodstuffs export and import. Scientific novelty: there was worked out a hierarchically-rating model of basic factors effect on export-import activities within the foodstuffs market that provides four levels of these factors and distinguishes them to depend on the menage individual and those related to public regulation. The rate of implementation: Zhytomyr State Fiscal Customs Service, State Enterprise "Zhytomyr Distillery", "Nyva Expo" Company. Effectiveness: the research results support the increase of efficiency of individual's foreign trade activities. Field of application: central and local authorities, local governments, higher institutions of agrarian specialty, agricultural enterprises engaged in foreign trade.
