Objective: to substantiate the theoretical and methodological aspects and to develop the practical recommendations about mechanisms and instruments of financial support the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises. Object: the process of financial support the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises. Research methods: abstract-logical methods, economic and statistics methods, grouping, regression analysis, extrapolation of trends, Data Envelopment Analysis DEA. Theoretical results: the basis for the further enrichment of the theoretical and methodological foundations for the improvement of mechanisms and instruments of financial support the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises has been created. Practical results: the scientifically substantiated aspects and practical recommendations for improvement of the mechanisms and instruments of financial support the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises have been developed. Scientific novelty: the scientific and financial preconditions for agricultural enterprises' effective functioning that provides, along with the traditional sources of financial resources, alternative forms of financing, as well as the formation of adaptive financial strategy and intercoordinated cooperation with stakeholders have been substantiated on the basis of the assessment of the level of financial support of agricultural enterprises. Degree of implementation: the Department of agriculture development of the Lviv regional state administration, the Departments of agricultural development of Mukachevo district state administration in Zakarpattia oblast, Farmer "Soroki B. M." of the Zhovkovskiy district in Lviv region, Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnologies named C. S. Geckogo. Efficiency: the results of the research contribute to the improvement of mechanisms and instruments of financial support the effective functioning of agricultural enterprises. Usage scope: central and local Executive authorities, local governments, higher education institutions of agrarian profile, agricultural enterprises.
