Varava A. Economic evaluation and formation of information support of strategic management of industrial enterprises (on the example of ore mining enterprises).

The dissertation deals with the issues in improving the processes of information support in strategic management of industrial enterprises and corporations. In order to improve the effectiveness of adoption and implementation of strategic management solutions at the enterprises, the creation of information subsystem of strategic management (ISSM) is proposed, which goal is to create an array of strategic information on the basis of strategic data that could be used in various areas of upcoming activity. For efficient organization of functioning of ISSM, an appropriate organizational and economic mechanism is developed based on a systematic approach. A set of indicators characterizing the quality, quantity and effectiveness of informational support are suggested to assess the level of information support for adoption and implementation of strategic management decisions. A model for evaluating the effectiveness of ISSM is developed for conditions of ore mining companies. The facilitation of this model by making management decisions regarding the execution of the strategic investment project has allowed to improve the initial informational base. As a result, along with the application of more qualitative data, 26.5% - reduction is found in the risk of erroneous strategic management decision. It is proved that qualitative informational support allows to improve the level of validity of the planned results in making strategic management decisions. Sector - the economy (mining).
