The dissertation focuses on the comprehensive study of prosodic parametres of intonation as means of oral prayer realization in Anglican Divine Worship discourse. The subject of the study is the prosodic characteristics of the oral English prayer as a component of Anglican Divine Worship structure. Linguistic investigation proper allowed to describe different prosodic parametres and to reveal the set of integral and differential prosodic parametres of the prayers under study.
