Essay

Object - colonization of endotracheal intubation tubes (EIT) by microorganisms in the process of mechanical ventilation and the effect of antiseptics on the microflora of this habitat; goal - to increase the effectiveness of the prevention of ventilator-associated pneu-monia in patients requiring prolonged respiratory support, by examining the patterns of colonization by microorganisms surfaces EIT and develop ways of preventing it; methods - analytical, microbiological, biochemical, statistical and analytical; results – for the first time the potentiating effect of subbacteriostatic concentrations of decamethoxin on the specific activity of antibiotics as carbapenems and third-generation cephalosporins was proved; for the first time the dynamics of bacterial film formation on the surface of PVC EIT was determined, a deadline of biofilm formation was found; for the first time inhibitory effect of decamethoxin subbacteriostatic concentrations on filming non-fermenting Gram-negative bacteria was established; for the first time film-forming non-fermenting gram-negative organisms on the surface of the EIT with antimicrobial coating was studied; branch – medicine.
