Kolisnychenko T. Verb-Conversives in Financial and Subject Marked Literal Discources of English: Semantic and Functional Aspects

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the verb-conversives FINANCIAL TRANSACTION in the English language system and the financial and subject marked fiction discourses, modeling of the conceptual system FINANCIAL TRANSACTION verbalized by ten pairs of verb-conversives aimed at expressing financial transaction; the study of the lexical-grammatical and lexical-semantic combinability of the verb-conversives in the English language system and two types of discourse and in the defining their discourse functions. The realization of a verb-conversive meaning component is motivated by a combinability of conversives, a type of discourse and author's intentions that cause shifts of conversives in the structure of lexical-semantic field "Financial Transaction".
