Muntian L. Actualization of the concept GLOBALISATION in scientific and mass media discourse

A complex methodology that includes qualitative and quantitative procedures in the analysis of the concept GLOBALISATION actualization in the scientific and mass-media discourse has been elaborated to build a matrix of the concept profiling. A notional component of the concept has been distinguished through the application of definitional and component analyses. The co-occurrence analysis of the concept nominative lexemes and adjoining lexemes has defined the spheres of the concept profiling in the discourse. The domain matrixes of the concept profiling in the scientific and mass media discourse have been constructed, determining common and distinct features of the concept actualization in types of discourse under study.
