The thesis is devoted to the study of structural and functional disorders of the condition of pancreas and biliary tract in children with reactive arthritis (ReA). It was presented the solution of the scientific problem to improve the effectiveness of prevention functional disorders of the pancreas and biliary tract by optimization early diagnostics. The results of a comprehensive examination of 150 children with ReA is presented in the thesis. On the basis of clinical and medical history, laboratory and instrumental methods of examination was found that functional pancreatic disorders in children with ReA occurred in 25% cases, functional biliary disorders were observed in one third part of patients, biliary dyskinesia detected in 97,7% of children. It was proved the role of persistent Chlamydia pneumoniae, EBV and cytomegalovirus infection as trigger factors ReA that affect changes in the biliary tract and pancreas.It was offered the method of forecasting the development of functional disorders of the biliary tract and pancreas in children with ReA using fuzzy clustering with an average forecast error of 12.3%. The adverse prognostic criteria were identified, indicating the occurrence of functional biliary and pancreatic disorders in children with ReA. The main prognostic criteria of functional disorders of the biliary tract and pancreas were updated in children with ReA. There are relapsing course of ReA; persistent Chlamydia pneumoniae, EBV and cytomegalovirus infections; normal values of indicators of the severity of inflammation; patients 3-6 years old.
