These dissertation devoted to developing of teoretiko-methodical bases and practical recommendations about improvement of diagnostics, management of resource providing the metallurgical enterprise. The expediency of application, classification of resource providing is proved, which considers interrelation of signs with stages of resource providing. The opened meaning of the concept: "management of resource providing a production activity of the enterprise". The condition of resource providing a production activity of the enterprises of ferrous metallurgy is analyzed. The assessment of effective management, productive resources of the metallurgical enterprises is executed and methodical approach on improvement of an assessment is offered. Problem zones of management, resource providing a production activity of the metallurgical enterprise are identified. The choice of criteria and indicators of diagnostics management of resource providing a production activity of the enterprise is reasonable. The functional model of express diagnostics of management of resource providing a production activity of the enterprise is developed and ways of adaptation of this model to the information management system of the metallurgical enterprise are offered.
