The concept, place and features of staff departments in the structure of internal affairs agencies of Ukraine are determined. Historical and legal analysis of the formation, development and organization of staff departments within internal affairs agencies is realized; legal principles of their activities are characterized; the place of administrative and legal regulation is defined.
