Essay

The thesis studies the effect of thermal heating and laser irradiation on the physicochemical properties of nanocomposites formed from titanium oxide and sulfide and nanoporous carbon. Relationship between the conditions and modes of obtaining and modifying of the composite components and regularities of electrochemical processes in electric energy storage and generation devices have been established. It is shown that the electrochemical system formed from thermally modified and laser irradiated composite TiO2/C has specific capacitance at currents of 1-5 mA, which is in 15-50 times higher than a similar capacity for the origin composite, indicating the formation of matrix with a large number of guest positions that can significantly intensify the charge/discharge processes. It was found that the electrochemical systems formed from laser irradiated composite TiS2 / C, at the current of 2.5 mA demonstrate specific capacitance, which is 30% higher than the corresponding value for unirradiated composite and in 12 times greater than the pure TiS2.
