Rudenko A. Doroshenkos Generation in Social, Political and Cultural Life of Ukraine (XIX - first half of the XX Century)

The object of research: the process of interaction of the generations as a whole system and cultural-historical environment in which it existed, lifestyle, professional guidance, features of the activities of the representatives of the tribal community, transmission of the national-cultural traditions within a certain historical period. The aim of research: study of the Doroshenko generation as socio-cultural community, whose representatives played a prominent role in the socio-political and cultural community processes in Ukraine XIX - first half of the XX century. The subject of research: the history of Doroshenkos Generation, activity of some of its members in various areas of social, political, cultural and scientific life. The methods of research: analyze, synthesis, problem-chronological, method of prosopography. The results of research and novelty: for the first time in Ukrainian historiography was made coherent reconstruction of the history of the Doroshenko generation as sociocultural system. The evolution of the social status of a family clan has been shown. The role of intrafamily, interpersonal relationships on the formation of cultural values, professional ambitions of some representatives of the generation has been reviewed. Amended addition to the genealogy of the Doroshenko. The sphere of usage: the further research of the current subject, writing of the synthesis works, manuals, reading of the high school courses on the history of Ukraine, of historiography, of chronology.
