Essay

We develop criteria for unitary similarity for unicellular matrices and for Toeplitz matrices. We build criterion for positive definiteness of the block matrix. We obtain miniversal deformations of the chain of linear mappings. We also obtain a criterion for the existence of a rigid system of secondorder linear differential equations, and we build a rigid system for every possible system matrices sizes.
