Kokhaniuk I. The treatment of gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2 based on polymorphisms of genes.

The dissertation is devoted to the improvement of diagnostics and treatment of patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease combined with diabetes mellitus type 2. Established new pathogenetic mechanisms of development and progression of gastroesophageal reflux disease in patients with diabetes mellitus type 2. Based on the detected change first proposed and tested an improved method of treatment and prevention of gastroesophageal reflux disease combined with diabetes mellitus type 2 , using pepsan (combined oral) and quercetin (kapilyarostabilizing product). The use of these drugs in the treatment of this disease improves clinical course of the underlying disease, reduce the length of epithelialization and infiltrative-inflammatory effects on esophageal mucosa erosive gastroesophageal reflux disease, accelerate the positive dynamics of endoscopic and pH-metric indicators, reducing the degree of oxidative stress, balance of proteinase-inhibitor system of blood, improve fibrinolysis, functional state of endothelium, morphofunctional state of erythrocytes and apoptosis activity, to avoid relapse compared with a standard basic treatment.
