A mathematical two-dimensional model and a method for calculation of bridges with group openings that consider transverse circulations influence on the kinematic characteristics of the flow are developed and validated in the thesis. Algebraic relations for the Reynolds stresses together with the two-parameter k-e model for depth-averaged values which is modified for the effects of flow curvature are used as a closing turbulence model. A method for the numerical implementation of the proposed mathematical model is developed based on the predictor-corrector method using MacCormack scheme which is modified by splitting model equations by spatial coordinates and time. An experimental research of the open streams merging node was used to confirm the adequacy of the developed model and its implementation method. Practical implementation was being performed on the real object of the road-transport complex of Ukraine.
