Vakulik О. Commencement of prejudicial inquiry in criminal proceedings.

The thesis is a comprehensive monographic research into legal, theoretical and practical aspects of activity of a crime investigator, a prosecutor at the initial stage of prejudicial inquiry in criminal proceedings. The paper defines and substantiates a number of new provisions and conclusions relevant to the fundamentals of criminal process and law enforcement practice. A comparative legal analysis of the emergence and development of the institute of commencement of prejudicial inquiry has been performed, the problems of modern law enforcement practice associated with the organization of activity on acceptance and handling applications and reports on criminal offenses, entry of the information into the Unified Register of Pre-Trial Investigations.
