Essay

The object of the investigation is the process of the dust air flow from chopped wood in the cyclone. The purpose of the work is the optimization of the exploitative characteristics of the pneumatic transport cyclone of woodworking enterprises through the motivation of its structural parameters. The methods of the investigation. For the mathematical modeling differential equation in the partial derivatives of the movement of the dust air mixture in the cyclone are used. One part of the work using FlowVision software system for modeling three-dimensional equations of the dynamic of the substance in the liquid and gaseous states is done. Scientific novelty. A new mathematical model of the air movement in the cyclone is based on the equation Navye-Stockes, flow continuity equation, equations of state and heat balance equation unlike previous ones, takes into account the shape of the cyclone and the characteristics of the air flow at the inlet of the device and allows to improve the method of calculation of structural elements of the cyclone on its hydraulic resistance and efficiency, the results of its numerical analysis and experimental verification are proposed. For the first time was proved that on the hydraulic resistance of the cyclone a significant impact has the distance between the bottom of the exhaust pipe to the determined that with the increase of this distance the cyclone hydraulic resistance decreases, which helps to reduce the energy cost on the process of air cleaning. The positive impact on the process of leakiness bunker air cleaning in the cyclone is grounded. It is proved that the leakage of the part of the air from the cyclone bunker promotes the reduction of the air in the inner vortex with the simultaneous preservation of the airflow velocity in the outer vortex and the reduction of the static pressure gradient in the machine. First the feasibility of using the filter sleeve on the cover of bunker cyclone is proved theoretically and experimentally. The optimal value of air which should come out of the bunker is determined which is requlated by changing of filter square. Area of application: woodworking plant.
